| Farm Information | This grape farm in Numata, Gunma Prefecture grows about ten varieties of these juicy fruits. The farm is reachable in about 1.5 hours by car on the Nerima IC along the Kanetsu Expressway. Produced in a rain-cut facility,* the grapes are eye-level with children and those in wheelchairs, allowing them to be easily picked. All ages and all people can enjoy grape harvesting here. There’s also an outdoor flush toilet on the premises, and a wheelchair-accessible bathroom is inside the store.
*A rain-cut facility allows grapes to grow without being directly affected by rainfall. Low hedges can be grown this way. |
