| Farm Information | This is a strawberry farm in Kanegasaki, Izawa, Iwate Prefecture. Five varieties are cultivated here: Shiro ichigo (Angel eight), Yotsuboshi, Beni Hoppe, Akihime, and Yumenoka. Water is brought in from underground from Mt. Kyozukayama and Mt. Komagatake in the Ou Mountains to help produce the strawberries. The greenhouse is equipped with elevated shelves so that visitors of all ages can enjoy picking while standing. Come have fun picking delicious strawberries in the middle of the great outdoors. |
