Jozankei Farm is located in the hot spring town of Jozankei, a town overflowing with the nature of Sapporo, Hokkaido. The farm is 21 hectares in area and is the largest or second largest farm in Japan. Various fruits can be harvested here including cherries, strawberries, grapes, apples, prunes, and plums.

Cherries are one of the fruits that Jozankei Farm puts the most effort into cultivating. The farm has various varieties of cherries including Sato Nishiki cherries and the so-called illusive Gassan Nishiki cherries.

Admission into the farm is 500 yen for adults (those in junior high school and older), 300 yen for children (four years old and older), and free for infants (three years old and younger). If you will be fruit picking, that will be separate fee. Fees for fruit picking will vary depending on the type of fruit.

There are also activities such as mountain stream fishing, tree trekking, pizza-making experiences, and more at Jozankei Farm. What is drawing attention is the newly opened Orchard Garden. It is a garden where ornamental flowers such as roses have been planted around fruit trees. You can enjoy both fruit picking and a beautiful garden here.

The town of Jozankei is located in a basin surrounding by mountains that are 400 meters in elevation. The land, which is different in temperature and has great water drainage, is the main factor that increases the sweetness in the fruits. There is no doubt that you will make great memories through harvesting experiences of sweet fruits grown by nature and diligent tending or through activities such as fishing in beautiful mountain streams and tree trekking.
