Sunshine Fruit Farm Tsuchida is located 30 minutes by car from JR Sapporo Station. Unlike the surroundings of Sapporo Station, the farm is located in an area surrounded by nature. It is a sightseeing farm that cultivates fruits such as cherries, strawberries, blueberries, and prunes.

Cherries are recommended at the farm. The farm cultivates over ten varieties of cherries and especially focuses on cultivating the sweet and large Sato Nishiki and Benishuho varieties. Cherry picking can be enjoyed through an all-you-can-eat package at 1000 yen for adults, 700 yen for elementary school students, 500 yen for those between two years old and under elementary school age, and free for those younger than two years old where you can have your fill with no time limit. Prices for other packages will vary depending on the fruit.

The cherries at Sunshine Fruit Farm are in season around the middle of July. The cherries will also differ in flavor depending on the trees. Please try finding your preferred sweetness and acidity in cherries while comparing the flavors of each cherry tree. Freshly picked cherries are all exquisite!

At Sunshine Fruit Farm, cherries are cultivated inside a full-scale greenhouse around the time the trees have begun to bear fruit. As the trees are not watered with rainwater, the cherries are able to have a deep flavor that isn’t bland. These cherries, grown through time and effort, have an exceptional taste different from those harvested at other farms.

Homemade jams are also made using the fruits harvested at the farm and are popular as souvenirs. The jams are available in four flavors, strawberry, cherry, blueberry, and prune, and all products are additive-free. How does buying jams made from delicious fruits grown safely and securely as souvenirs sound?
